Our Quilting Superstar is Suzanne Brehm, who joined our quilt guild in 2011.
 

Suzanne’s love of sewing began early, when she started sewing in elementary school around the third or fourth grade. At 11 years old, she began embroidering, and in fifth grade, she attended embroidery school for a year. When Suzanne’s father purchased her a sewing machine, she was off and sewing.
 

Her skills continued to grow over the years. Suzanne even sewed her own wedding gown and went on to create just about everything imaginable, including costumes, wedding gowns, and many other beautiful pieces.
 

After retiring from her nursing career, Suzanne turned her talents toward quilting. And what a quilter she became! Suzanne shared her “Hall of Fame” of Challenge Quilts, showcasing the quilts that earned her wins several years in a row.
 

From learning to sew as a young girl to becoming an accomplished quilter, Suzanne’s lifelong creativity and love of stitching make her a true Quilting Superstar!
