Fall 2026 Quilting Retreat!

​Our next guild quilting retreat will be Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 8 am. through Monday, November 2, 2026 at 1 pm. at the Walter Johnson Salvation Army Camp in Denton, NC.  It’s about a 3 hour drive from Greenville, SC. Food will be included in the retreat price and single or double rooms will be available.

The Details:

  The Dates:
o Thursday, October 29 at 8 am. through Monday, November 2 at 1pm.

  The Place:
o Camp Walter Johnson/ Salvation Army Conference Center

   918 Walter Johnson Rd, Denton, NC 27239

  The Cost:
o Single Room...$492 total ($95.00 night with 8 meals starting with supper

on the 29th and ending with breakfast on the 2nd)
o Double Room...$302 total ($47.50/night, including the same meals noted above)

  The Meals:
o We will be served only two meals per day, breakfast and supper. On the day we arrive we will have our first meal at suppertime. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will have breakfast and supper meals. On the day we leave, we will enjoy only breakfast. There is a large refrigerator in the sewing room to keep anything you may want to bring for your lunch, or for snacks, chilled. Also, we have a "share table" for snacks. The breakfast meals cost $12 each and the supper meals are $16 each.
 

  The Rooms:
o Each room has its own bathroom/shower. The lodges also have a community kitchen with a refrigerator. The lodges are separate from the sewing room, so there is a little bit of walking back and forth. Generally, there are two twin beds in each room. It is always wise to bring your own pillow and an extra blanket.

  The Reservations: 

o Please let Pam K. know if you are interested and she will put your name on the list. It is helpful to know if you desire a single or double room. Pam will begin taking checks in August at our guild meeting.
